Gokyo Lake Everest Base camp via Cho-La Pass Trekking starts with a scenic and sweeping flight to Lukla, the door to many adventures around the Everest region, walk leads to terraced fields and traditional Sherpa farm villages. As the trek progresses on daily walks reaching a beautiful forest of rhododendron, pines, and oak trees with views of Mt. Everest and Ama-Dablam with other high mountains a great contrast to green forest, hills, and white snow-capped peaks. Gokyo Lake To Everest Base Camp Via Cho-La Pass trek slowly enters at famous Namche Bazaar with lovely Tibetan-style houses serving as the lodge, hotels and resorts, and excellent restaurants, where Saturday Market is held once a week.
In Namche acclimatize before heading to the higher elevation, from here walk on the gradual winding uphill with views of Mt. Everest as walks lead into green woodland to reach beautiful and scenic Gokyo Lake. At Gokyo enjoy the views of the emerald-colored lake in the shade of the world's 6th highest Mt. After a fabulous time here walks lead to a cross-over Cho-la pass after Thagnag which leads you to another side of Khumbu at Everest Base Camp. At Everest Base Camp enjoy the massive Khumbu Ice Falls and glaciers and climb the highest point of the adventure on top of Kalapathar at 5,545 m high, which offers you eye-catching views of Mt. Everest at its closet with a series of peaks that surround you.
After a grand time in the high Khumbu valley return journey downhill to the beautiful and scenic Thyangboche Monastery area, a renowned Buddhist monastery with views of mountains. Finally, our adventure concludes by walking back to Lukla for the flight to Kathmandu with a memorable and wonderful adventure on Gokyo Lake Everest BaseCamp via Cho-La Pass trekking.
