Overview

Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the most exciting and adventurous trekking trails located in the Mansiri Himalayan range of Lamjung district. This Manaslu Circuit Trek (8163 m) passing over the Larke Pass is becoming more and more popular as a new trekking destination. Manaslu Circuit Trek is also known as a "virgin" trek because of its unexploited natural beauties. This fascinating trek takes you to the heights of the Himalayas to let you view some of the most amazing views of nature.

Highlights of the Manaslu Circuit Trek

  • unspoiled beauty with a less crowded route
  • Teahouses, remote villages, and villagers and their hospitality
  • High passes (Larkya La, 5153 m) and subtropical forests
  • Incredible views of Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Himchuli, Mt. Ganesh, and many others
  • Sub-Tibetan people, culture, and lifestyle

Manaslu Circuit Trekking starts from Arughat Bazaar and ends at Besisahar, passing through some of the most beautiful villages and following rivers and streams. The trek takes you to different religious villages and offers you the chance to see authentic Hindu and Tibetan-style villages. Following the trail, this trek passes through the Larke Pass (5160  m), the highest access point of the trek.

Manaslu Trek is a unique combo of an adventurous trekking trail and a cultural visit to some of the old and religious places beneath the high Himalayas. A classic trek with breathtaking mountain views, natural wonders, distinct green land, and wilderness. Also, it will give you a chance to explore the untouched and adventurous trails of the high Himalayas of Nepal. Manaslu Circuit Trek offers you spectacular views of the world's 8th-highest peak, Manaslu (8163), and many higher peaks in Nepal.

This is not a busy trail by any means. The trekking route to Manaslu sees very few trekkers every year. While the Annapurna and Everest trekking routes are being disrupted by new transportation routes (i.e. roads), Manaslu Circuit Trekking provides you with the opportunity to trek to fully remote Himalayas while admiring nature's unspoiled beauty. The trek's main draw is the panoramic views of giant snowcapped mountains and beautiful forests with small villages.

The itinerary below is one of the many possibilities; the trek can be longer or shorter depending on the length of your walking days. There are basic guesthouses all along the trail, so you can choose if you want to camp or stay at the teahouses or guesthouses.
